Exit Stetind
Exit Stetind is a multi-layered analogue photo project from the Norwegian mountain Stetind, near Narvik in Nordland. The work was first produced for the national, site-specific project Kunstneriske forstyrrelser, and later reworked as an autonomous photo series.
The photographs were initially made while climbing the mountain’s South Pillar, then re-photographed in the studio to capture the room’s light reflected on the surface of the paper prints.
The series has been shown at several venues, including Henie Onstad Kunstsenter (Fjellet i norsk kunst), Fotogalleriet in Oslo, Nordland Kunstsenter in Bodø, Narvik, and the exhibition Mørke Nu, among others. Works from the series have been acquired by Preus Museum, Akershus University Hospital (AHUS), and other collections.
